Bangkok - Day 150
For whatever reason, I woke up in a panic at 5am this morning with the realization that when Buddhi brought our gear back to us after Turture, we didn’t get back our binoculars or my down jacket. That’s a fun thing to realize when you’re supposed to leave the country in a few hours. After multiple texts/emails (and seemingly lots of confusion) back and forth with Buddhi, he finally found them and shipped them back to the US for us. Phew.

Bangkok was a breath of fresh air after Sri Lanka and Nepal the last few months - much cleaner and more modern city with great infrastructure (big fan of the BTS). We only had a few hours left in the evening by the time we got in and settled at our AirBNB so we headed to the rooftop bar at the Marriott for some excellent views then off to find some street food. Ben happened upon an awesome night market and we ate everything - pad Thai, papaya salad, salt and pepper chicken, crispy pork, etc. So delicious. Very excited to finally be in this country.
